Green Tea Raw Protein Bars

“Makes squares, balls or bars. You could also press in different topping ingredients such as cacao nibs or mulberry crumble before chilling and slicing”

Makes approximately 5 bars

1⁄2 cup cashew or almond paste
1⁄2 cup milk
1⁄4 cup coconut syrup
Few drops mint peppermint extract
1⁄2 cup rice protein powder
1⁄2 cup oats– finely ground
2 tsp green tea
Melted dark chocolate drizzle– optional

Blend all ingredients together in a food processor until you have a very smooth thick paste/dough. Press into a small lined tin and drizzle with melted dark chocolate (or wait and drizzle after cutting so it also goes down the sides). Chill to firm up before slicing into bars. Keep stored in the fridge.
