Pear & Pistachio Porridge

I used a small grated apple for added texture and the lighten up the oats, but for sweetness only you could use 2 tsp freeze dried apple powder. The perfect way to brighten up those cold January mornings!

Serves 1 bowl

Ingredients:
1 heaped tbs pistachio paste
1/3 cup oats
1 small apple grated
3 dried pears sliced on top (or chopped and mixed through)
1 ½ cups boiling water
Handful of sunflower seeds to decorate

Method:
Add all ingredients to a medium pan (including pear if cooking into porridge). Bring to boil then simmer for 5-7 minutes until cooked to your preference. Serve into a boil and top with pear and/or seeds.
