A Delicious Treat For The Whole Family with our New Organic Italian Popcorn!
Makes a medium bowlful
- 1/3 cup Popcorn Kernels (we used the ruby red ones)
- 1 tsp Coconut Oil
- 1/4 cup runny Peanut Butter
- 1/4 cup Coconut Syrup
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup dried fruit or nuts (I used chunks of dried apricot for an extra ‘caramel’ flavour) – optional
-Add the popcorn and coconut oil to a large lidded pan. Heat until the kernels begin to pop and then shake the pan over the heat continuously until popping subsides (approximately 3 mins).
-Meanwhile mix the remaining ingredients (except fruit/nuts) together in a small bowl, warming through if needed to ensure it is runny enough. Once the popcorn is ready, pour over the coating along with the fruit/nuts if using and toss or stir to fully coat.
-Best eaten the same day.
