Chia Jam is excellent on pancakes, toast or porridge and it’s so simple to make – it requires just 4 ingredients, 1 bowl and 10 minutes of your time. We used our Freeze dried Raspberries in this recipe but there are so many of our berries you could try – Strawberries, Cranberries or Lingonberries! You could also experiment with using White or Dark Chia Seeds, depending on which you prefer!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Freeze Dried Raspberries
- 1 Tbsp White Chia Seeds or Dark Chia Seeds
- 6 Tbsp water
- optional, 1 – 2 Tbsp Light Agave Syrup (depending on how sweet you like your jam)
Method
-Mix the water, chia seeds and agave syrup in a medium size bowl and set aside for 5 minutes
-Add the raspberries and crush them into the mix using a fork.
-Give it a good stir and decant it into an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
