What do we do when we receive a delivery of new products like Toasted Coconut Chips and Flax seeds?
Make Granola of course!
We’re fans of granola because of it’s crunchy texture and toasty flavour but mainly because it’s so versatile! By that we mean there are a number of different nuts, grains and seeds that work well in a granola recipe so feel free to swap out some of the seeds and nuts for what you have in your kitchen cupboard. By including flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, puffed teff and pecans in this recipe we ensured you have a granola that is packed full of protein, fibre, vitamins and omega fatty acids.

For a delicious breakfast or snack add a splash of milk or non-dairy milk, yoghurt or kefir and top it off with any of our Freeze Dried Fruits or Dried Fruits. If you enjoy a slice of toast with nut butter then try sprinkling on a little granola.
We recently added conventional Golden and Brown Flax Seeds to our range. Although we already have an organic version of these products we wanted to make these nutrient dense seeds available to more people and so we’re offering a 1KG bag from just £2.79. Like all our products our new seeds have a great shelf life so our 1kg bag will see you through all the way to next year for all your salad, porridge and cereal toppings, smoothies, granola making and baking needs! Flax is so versatile!
Flax seeds are a great plant source of protein and omega fatty acids as well as being high in fibre making these seeds highly nutritious.
Our natural blue Poppy Seeds have a sweet, subtle nutty flavour. With calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, B vitamins, 18g of protein and almost 20g grams of fibre per 100g they are a very nutritious seed.
Poppy Seeds can be used in both sweet and savoury dishes. Sprinkle them on top of homemade bread before baking, add them to a lemon loaf or muffins or top off your morning bowl of cereal, porridge or smoothie with a few. Some savoury dishes you could add them to include salads, dressings or curries.
Our Organic Toasted Coconut Chips are fantastic both as a snack or used in healthy baking. Just 100% dried coconut kernel, with no sweeteners, additives or preservatives. The light toasting process gives a warm and nutty coconut flavour.
