We’re passionate about providing plenty of options for gluten free baking and cooking. Our ground nuts are one of the ways we do that! The great thing about our ground nuts is that as well as being gluten free they are also super nutritious providing an excellent source of protein as well as so many vitamins and minerals.
All of our ground nuts are simply 100% unroasted nuts with no preservatives, additives or salt. Our blanched ground almond flour (ground almonds) is the most well known in our range but in the same way ground almonds can be used, all of our ground nuts offerings are excellent in cooking and baking. With 6 different ground nuts simply choose the one based on your flavour preferences…creamy cashew for mild, creaminess, walnuts for super savoury vegan ‘meat’ recipes right through to ground pecans for perfect pies! We also have our defatted fine nut flours that have the texture of regular flour. These flours are super versatile for light cakes and bakes, smoothies and thickening sauces and also pack a protein punch.

We offer both Organic Extra Fine Almond Flour and Organic or Conventional Ground Blanched Almond Flour.
Our Blanched Ground Almond Flours (often referred to as ground almonds or almond meal in recipes) is produced by grinding whole blanched almonds. The ground nuts retain the oil (fat) so it’s very easy to work with for making cakes and puddings. Grab a 1kg bag of the conventional flour for £9.99!
Our Extra Fine Almond Flour is a de-oiled almond flour which helps achieve a much finer texture than our regular ground almond flour. It has a high protein content of 45% making it also a favourite for those looking to increase their protein intake. Although slightly harder to work with than our ground blanched almond flour, our customers love it for macarons, crispy pizza bases and so much more. Use both our almond flours in our Chocolate Cracker recipe and our Grain Free Pumpkin Cookies. Grab a 1kg bag for £13.49!
Our ground buttery and tasty pecan nuts make delicious gluten free cakes, puddings, date balls and of course, pies! Our ground pecans also have quite a following for homemade porridge. Pecan Nuts are a great source of fibre, vitamin E and B vitamins.
We offer both Organic Extra Fine Walnut Flour and Ground Walnuts.
Our unique Organic Extra Fine Walnut Flour is a de-oiled flour which helps achieve a much finer texture than our regular ground walnuts as well as having a lower fat content. It is perfect for adding a walnut flavour to baked goods, thickening sauces or adding to smoothies. Pick up a 1kg bag for £9.89.
Ground Walnuts have a courser texture compared to our extra fine walnut flour. However, with it’s rich flavour ground walnuts have become a favourite for vegan “meaty” recipes such as vegan meatballs, lasagne and burgers. The walnuts are ground with their skin on to get all the goodness that comes from the skin such as phenols and flavanoids. Try in our burger recipe here. Pick up a 1kg bag for £8.49.
With their mild, super creamy flavour our Ground Cashew Nuts can be used for delightful, light baking and cooking recipes or mixed into porridges and smoothies.
Cashews, as with other tree nuts, are a good source of antioxidants. Alkyl phenols, in particular, are abundant in cashews. They are also a source of dietary trace minerals selenium, copper, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. Try in our Spinach and Cashew pesto recipe here.
Delicious, rich, sweet tasting ground hazelnuts are high in protein and fibre and are an excellent source of monounsaturated fatty acids including oleic and linoleic acid. Make delightful bakes and puddings, raw bakes or simply add to porridge, smoothies and yoghurt for all the hazelnut goodness.
Our creamy, delicious brazil nuts are a good source of fibre and vitamins, especially vitamin E and B. Bake, raw bake, pudding make or sprinkle on porridge, cereals and smoothies. Try in our Pumpkin Spiced Date Recipe for Halloween below!
Our new date paste addition to our range makes ‘no bake’ balls and bars super easy, no blender or processor needed! With Halloween just around the corner, check out our pumpkin spiced date balls. These date balls have the flavours of pumpkin pie with pumpkin puree, cinnamon and our new spices – ground ginger and nutmeg. They’re a great way to use leftover pumpkin mash from the carvings! As we use our new and convenient date paste, there’s no need to soak and blend dates – simply mix the date paste in by hand well. We also use our nut flours and butter so theres no need to grind any nuts either, you can simply make in a bowl with a good amount of mixing if you don’t have a blender. We hope you enjoy our fun recipe!
Recipe: Pumpkin Spiced Date Balls
Makes: 12-15 balls
1 cup (120g) nut flour (we used brazil nut flour but almond, pecan or walnut will work just as well)
1/2 cup (+/- 88g) date paste
1 Tbsp nut butter
1 Tbsp shelled hemp
1/2 cup (+/- 112g) pumpkin puree
1 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp ground ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
pinch of salt
desiccated coconut for coating
To make the pumpkin puree, peel and chop the pumpkin into small cubes and boil until the pumpkin is soft. Drain the water and mash or blend the pumpkin into a smooth puree. Set aside to cool slightly. (For a more intense pumpkin flavour, you could roast the pumpkin and puree as soon as it comes out the oven)
Mix in the rest of the ingredients.
Sprinkle your coconut on a tray or big plate.
Roll the mixture into small balls and place onto the coconut. Roll the balls around the coconut to coat them.
