Winter wouldn’t be the same without a mulled drink or two and it’s even better when you make it yourself! Pimp up your apple juice with this epic mix of spices and enjoy a festive taste explosion. It’s very simple to make, a great non-alcoholic option and to top it off it smells amazing!
Recipe: Mulled Spiced Apple Juice
Serves 2
Ingredients
2 cups apple juice
1 cup water
2 whole cloves
1 star anise
1 cinnamon stick
5 juniper berries
2 black peppercorns
Peel of half an orange
1 Tbsp coconut sugar
Method
Dry heat the spices in a pan for a few minutes to release the flavours. Add the remaining ingredients and simmer for approx. 10 minutes (or longer until ready to serve).
