Green Tea Latte

An alternative spin on the matcha classic, don’t skimp on the amount of coconut milk, as a milk with a higher fat content works best for a latte

Serves 1

Ingredients:
1 cup boiling water (separated in two 1/2 cups)
1/4 cup coconut milk powder
1 tsp matcha green tea powder

Method:
Whisk the coconut milk powder into the 1⁄2 cup of boiling water for 1 minute until it looks similar to steamed milk. Whisk the green tea blend into the other half of the boiling water. Pour matcha into the mug, then hold the mug at an angle as you pour hot whisked milk in. If desired try and make pretty art on top if you have the knack!

Note: the flavour is less subtle than pure matcha powder, but the generous helping of coconut milk helps tone down the intensity of flavour.
