For an easy dessert that’s also fun to get the kids involved with, try melting any of our dark chocolate couverture drops and dipping strawberries in (or any fruit you have available at the time – for example, banana, pineapple or even our dried mango!)
Dark Chocolate Coated Strawberries
Makes: 15 – 20 strawberries
100g dark chocolate couverture drops
15 – 20 Fresh strawberries
Place a piece of baking paper on a tray
Place 80g of the chocolate drops in a microwavable bowl and melt on a low heat in the microwave until all the drops are melted, ensuring you take the bowl out the microwave every 15-20 seconds and give it a stir.
Chop the remaining 20g of the chocolate drops roughly and add to the melted mixture. Stir it in until the drops have melted in completely.
Dip the strawberries in the chocolate and place on the baking paper for the chocolate to set.
