New to our range of nuts are a ‘nibbed’ variety of small chopped nut pieces.
We are nuts about nuts, so as well as offering a range of nut types we also offer a range of sizes. Whole nuts… Nut pieces… Flaked nuts… And now chopped nuts!
Our chopped (or nibbed) nuts are incredibly versatile for use in a variety of dishes. We love to use them in baking as the pieces are a perfect size to mix into cake and flapjack style oat bars. Or sprinkle on top of porridges and overnight oats or mix through mueslis.
If savoury dishes are more your thing they are the perfect size to use it straight from the bag – no crushing or chopping needed when tossing into salads, stirfries or curries. Chopped nuts also make great nut butters as the small size blends down so easily.
A little goes a long way compared with our whole nut pieces and the chopped nuts are offered at a fantastic price point compared with the whole nuts.
Whole nuts in any variety will always be the very best quality, as when crushed the highest quality tend to stay whole whilst the others crumble more readily, so as a rule of thumb whole nuts are the best for snacking on by the handful and nut pieces are best and most economical for use in all your recipes!
First in our chopped/nibbed range are our toasted chopped peanuts which have a rich peanutty flavour. We are also offering blanched almonds pieces without the skins and chopped cashews.
What will you create?

Chopped Toasted Peanuts
Chopped peanuts are an extremely versatile ingredient, perfect for sprinkling on cereals, salads or any meals that could do with a nutty protein boost. They are also an excellent addition to oriental dishes and are perfect for using to make your own delicious satay sauce. Alternatively, mix into our chocolate couvertures for delightful bars and truffles or why not blitz them up in a food processor to make your own home-made toasted peanut butter!

Chopped Blanched Almonds
Our chopped almonds come with the skin removed. These nibbed creamy, sweet-tasting almonds are an extremely versatile ingredient. Almonds are high in protein and fibre and are an excellent source of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids and vitamin E. They are also rich in magnesium, calcium, selenium, iron, potassium, niacin, phosphorous, copper and zinc.
Chopped almond nibs are excellent for baking, in muesli and porridge, curries and salads. Try mixing with our dried fruits, seeds, chocolate drops and/or other nuts in homemade snack mixes.

Chopped Cashews
Our cashew nut small pieces are unroasted cashews with no additives, preservatives or added salt. They are smaller pieces than our standard cashew pieces. Cashews, as with other tree nuts, are a good source of antioxidants. Alkyl phenols, in particular, are abundant in cashews. They are also a source of dietary trace minerals selenium, copper, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. Great for stir fries, flapjack style bars, cooking, baking or making home made cashew butter.
