If you’re trying to cut down or cut out sugar, nut butters can really help you curb those sugar cravings. Instead of reaching for a sugar treat when the craving strikes, try a nut butter. We sell a whole host of delicious 100% nut butters but when you want something a little more decadent with a touch of spice or extra flavours, try making these homemade spreads using our cashew paste as the base. Using our cashew nut paste makes things even easier than grinding cashews yourself- no super-powered food processor required! These cashew butters have a naturally subtle sweet taste that hits the spot perfectly but they are totally sugar-free recipes!
Of course you can also use coconut sugar or dates to add extra sweetness if you prefer. Generous helpings of pure vanilla have also been critical (for my sanity) as vanilla and also cinnamon and carob for that matter, give the impression of sweetness in recipes even when there is none.
