Fruit and Nut clusters

This quick recipe can be adapted to suit everyone’s taste. You can substitute any dried fruits and nuts instead of the ones we used.

Makes: 15-18 clusters


  • 1 cup Blanched Peanuts
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup Sultanas
  • 1.5 cups Ugandan Chocolate 61% Couverture Drops
  • 3 tbsp honey


  • Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C/ 160°C fan)
  • Line a baking tray with greaseproof paper
  • Place the peanuts on the baking tray and lightly sprinkle with salt
  • Roast in the oven for 15 minutes
  • While peanuts are cooking, melt chocolate in a medium microwave-safe bowl or in a double boiler on the stove
  • Once melted add the peanuts, sultanas, and honey to the bowl and mix
  • Spoon the mixture, around 1 tbsp per cluster, of the mixture onto a lined baking tray
  • Allow chocolate to solidify
  • Enjoy!
