Our Brown Short Grain Rice is shorter and rounder than regular rice. It has a nutty, full rice flavour and is great with curries, a base for salads or as a nutritious side dish to your meal. Brown Rice is a great source of fibre and protein.

Brown rice takes longer to cook than white rice as it still has the husk. This means it has more fibre that white rice.  It is great to cook in a big batch and keep in the fridge to use as needed. To cook add to the pan with water.  Bring to the boil. Cover, turn down the heat and cook for 20-25 minutes.  Adding stocks to the water help flavour the rice.
