Our delicious Dark Coconut Sugar Chocolate covered Crystallised Ginger is a wonderful treat. Our chewy, spicy, fragrant crystallised ginger is encased in our unique organic dark chocolate that is just Dominican Republic 67% dark cocoa simply sweetened with coconut sugar and absolutely nothing else. Our chocolate coated ginger is also vegan and gluten free.
The spicy, sweet flavour of the ginger pairs wonderfully with the dark chocolate. The ginger has been cooked in raw cane sugar giving it a slightly crunchy exterior with a soft gooey interior.
As we keep our chocolate as pure as possible our chocolate covered treats are not finished to shining perfection as other chocolate snacks may be that have added nasties such as shellac and other polishing agents. We also don’t add anything to stop our chocolate melting such as lecithins as again we want to keep our chocolate as natural as possible. Using our purest chocolate means our snacks have a raw finish and a few may clump. We advise storing in a cool, dark place.
