Our Dark Green Lentils are French Puy type lentils, we just can’t call them that as they are not from Puy in France! These lentils have a mild flavour and are excellent to use when you want a lentil to hold their shape and texture. Green lentils are rich in protein and fibre, vitamins and minerals.   To cook use 3 parts water to 1 part lentils, bring water to the boil, add the lentils and reduce to a simmer for 15-20 minutes until soft.

Suggested uses:

Try in vegetarian bolognese, stews, casseroles and slow cooker dishes.

It is recommended to rinse before use.
