Our Date Sweetened 70% Dark Chocolate Couverture Bar is a delicious and nutritious treat! This decadent chocolate is made from just 3 ingredients, the finest Single Origin Ecuadorian Arriba cocoa mass, natural cocoa butter and sweetened with dates. The flavour is intense and refined with subtle floral notes from the cocoa mass and a hint of caramel from the date. Although not as smooth as our other chocolates the date works magically with the single origin Ecuadorian arriba cocoa, nutritionally sweetening the bar without the strong flavour of date.
Dates have a lower sugar content when compared to regular cane sugar. They also have a high fibre content (11g per 100g) whereas cane sugar has 0% fibre. Dates are packed full of a plethora of different essential nutrients making them a great sweetener for this unique chocolate!
Offered in an excellent 195g couverture slab, this is exceptional quality chocolate at a superb price delivered straight to your door. Eat straight from the bag, break up and share with friends or melt down and use in your vegan baking, sweet treats and chocolate fondues.
As these are pure, couverture slabs made with finest ingredients without any lecithins or stabilisers there may be slight melting/blooming/breakage following transportation.
