This is a wonderful 74% chocolate produced from Single Origin Ecuadorian Arriba cocoa beans. A very smooth, creamy chocolate that is less bitter than most other 74% chocolate couverture. An excellent dark chocolate at a great price.
Our Ecuadorian chocolate has a very floral profile, with a characteristic bitterness, accompanied by low acidity, a pleasant note of astringency and a floral bouquet. The flavour of this cocoa persists for a long time in the mouth. This product is supplied in small coin sized drops for easy weighing and melting. Produced from Nacional cocoa beans grown in the province of Guayas this cocoa has all the wonderful characteristics of the traditional Ecuadorian Arriba cocoa.

These chocolate drops go really well with our nuts and dried fruits in homemade snacks. They are also great for pralines, ice cream (makes the most amazing chocolate sorbet!), in cookies, chocolate cakes and muffins.
