Our fantastic new Hebridean peat smoked sea salt harvested in Loch Erisort on the Isle of Lewis. The water used in the collection of the salt is of grade A class which is the purest you can get. Most table salts are highly processed and contain anti-caking agents whilst being stripped of their natural beneficial trace elements however Hebridean peat smoked sea salt is a natural, unrefined salt that has retained over sixty naturally occurring trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, calcium and zinc. Each small batch is beautifully smoked in a traditional Hebridean smokehouse adding a deep, peaty flavour to the salt which is then hand packed. Winner of a highly coveted great taste award – organised by the Guild of Fine Food, it is the acknowledged benchmark for fine food and drink.

Suggested uses:

This delightful smoked sea salt crumbles easily between the fingers and gives a fantastic burst of flavour to dishes as well as a gentle crunch that melts in the mouth. It’s an excellent product to give a deep smoked flavour to fish and meat.
