Our Alfalfa Seeds are 100% organic and when sprouted, particularly nutritious containing protein, minerals and vitamins.  Sprouted Alfalfa seeds are not only nutrient dense but they’re also low in calories which makes them an excellent addition to salads.

Note these seeds are for sprouting only and should not be consumed raw. This can be done by soaking 2 tbsp seeds for 6-12 hours in a large jar filled with water. To drain them, either place a fine sieve over the top of the jar and pour out the water or place a muslin cloth over the top of the jar and secure with an elastic band and drain the water from the seeds. Repeat this 2 to 3 times a day for about 4 days or until you are left with alfalfa sprouts in your jar. (Please note this is a rough guide to sprouting)

Suggested uses:

Once sprouted add them to salads, sandwiches or use them as a garnish for dishes or snacks – we love topping off avocado or hummus toast with few!
