Our excellent quality amaranth flakes have a delicious light, mild nutty flavour and are an excellent source of protein, fibre and magnesium. Our gluten free amaranth flakes are made in the traditional way by heating the raw grain from the amaranth plant and then rolling out flat to produce fine flakes. Nothing added just 100% organic amaranth flakes.
Amaranth flakes can be used in the same way as other cereal flakes – use as an alternative to porridge oats, as a base for muesli or why not bake into cakes and muffins for a nutritious treat. Amaranth flakes can even be added to soups to naturally thicken.
