Our unique Organic Extra Fine Walnut Flour is an ideal nutritious, gluten free alternative flour with lower fat than our standard ground walnuts.  With all the goodness of walnuts it is perfect for adding a walnut flavour to baked goods, thickening sauces or adding to smoothies.   Our extra fine flour is a de-oiled walnut flour ground to a much finer texture than our regular ground walnut flour.

Suggested use:

Great alternative flour for low carb baking, perfect in a nutty carrot cake or banana bread! Also excellent for adding to smoothies for all the walnut goodness or for thickening sauces to give a slight walnut flavour. Recipes that suggest the use of walnut flour more often than not are using ground walnuts (we also sell here). This should be kept in mind when baking with our extra fine version if you are following tradition walnut flour recipes, you will have to add more fat.   However, for the more experienced baker this is a excellent nutritious gluten free fine flour alternative.
