Our organic roasted buckwheat (also known as Kasha) is very delicious, the roasting process gives the buckwheat a more intense, slight nutty flavour. Buckwheat is a fruit seed related to rhubarb and sorrel making it an excellent staple in gluten and wheat free diets. Buckwheat is a great source of protein, iron and magnesium while being low in fat.
Roasted buckwheat is great added on top of salads, in soups and casseroles to give a nutty flavour or on it’s own as a side. Alternatively cook up with cinnamon and apple for a winter warming breakfast!
