Our Organic Mung Beans are so versatile with a slightly sweet taste. Mung Beans can be used as an ingredient in both savoury and sweet dishes. They hold their shape when cooking and are a popular switch out for meat in vegan and vegetarian dishes. Mung Beans are rich in vitamin B, fibre and folate. Before cooking, soak for 4-5 hours and rinse, add with water to the pan, bring to boil, cover and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours.
Try in soups, curries and slow cooker dishes.
It is recommended to rinse before use.
