Our Organic Scottish Gluten Free Whole Porridge Oats. The oats are grown in the sun-drenched fields of Aberdeenshire Scotland, kiln-dried and stone-ground into “groats” in a water-powdered mill, before being flaked to produce fragmented oat flakes with a characteristic nutty, oaty flavour. Our Porridge oats are low in fat and also an excellent source of fibre, making them a great, healthy way to start your morning!  These are our whole oats that require heating to make porridge, we also sell our oat blend which makes instant porridge.

Suggested uses:

Heat the oats with water or milk in a saucepan or microwave and add your favourite RealFoodSource ingredients to create delicious thick hot porridge.  We love them with a scoop of our coconut milk powder for a creamy, dairy free morning porridge, we sprinkle on our chia and mulberries for an omega boost and a little natural sweetness.  If berries and dates are your thing try our freeze dried fruits such as bananas, strawberries and apple or add a handful of our goji berries or a few of our chopped medjool dates.   Alternatively grab our free Porridge Oats Recipe ebook for all our favourite recipes.
