Introducing our delicious, versatile and convenient SMOOSH, a no-bake cake mix in handy 300g packs. Our Fruit ‘n’ Seed SMOOSHES UP lots of yummy ingredients – dates, chia seeds, flax seeds, shelled hemp seeds, pumpkin & sunflower seeds, raisins, goji berries, baobab powder and agave syrup, to create a delicious smoosh loaded with good fats, vitamins and minerals. No preservatives, no binders, no nasties, just 100% real food ingredients and our first Smoosh containing the unique ingredient – baobab powder!
Smoosh is not only nutritious and convenient but it’s also loads of fun! Our kids roll the mixture and smoosh into shapes and dip them in chocolate! Alternatively, smoosh the pack, cut open and chop into energy bars. Smoosh sprinkles? Cut open the side and sprinkle into porridge, make smoothies, add to pancake batter or make into ice cream and lollies! How will you SMOOSH? We’d love to see!
Smoosh bags are good for the planet and are biodegradable. Looking to snack for a few days or at work and on the go? Seal with a resealable clip in your bag and just smoosh a bit out whenever you need a quick snack. If you cut Smoosh into bars you can get 6 x 50g bars out of it or roll up 10 x 30g bliss balls.
Smoosh takes whole, natural ingredients and smooshes them up to a mix that is simple and fun to eat!
Our Smoosh Fruit ‘n’ Seed combines the following ingredients which are free from preservatives, flavours and additives:
Dates are high in fibre and a good source of minerals like magnesium, iron and calcium.
Baobab Powder is a great source of antioxidants, vitamin C, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium and dietary fibre.
Chia Seeds are high in omega 3, protein, antioxidants and a multitude of nutrients
Flax Seeds are a great plant source of protein and omega fatty acid
Shelled Hemp Seeds contain 32% protein and many essential amino acids
Pumpkin Seeds are protein-dense and a rich source of minerals including iron, zinc and magnesium
Sunflower seeds are high in protein and fibre
Dried Fruits – goji berries and raisins which have a high concentration of protein and are very high in vitamin C and carotenoids.
Agave Syrup with its lower glycemic index, makes an excellent replacement for refined sugar.
Smoosh can be eaten straight out the bag but it’s got so many other ways you can use it!
Bars: Keep the mixture in the bag and press it into the corners to really make it compact. Cut down the sides of the bag and slide the mixture out the bag and cut into bars.
Bliss Balls: Simply roll the mixture into balls and pop them in your own container. Dip in chocolate for a more decadent treat and top with goji berries, freeze-dried fruit or chia seeds before the chocolate sets!
Porridge: Add roughly 2 tbsp of mixture to 50g of oats and 125ml of water and cook it over the stove or in the microwave for 2 minutes. Add more or less Smoosh depending on your desired sweetness. Or alternatively, make your porridge and sprinkle the mixture on top along with any other toppings you desire!
Cheesecake Base: Use it as a base for fridge set cheesecakes. Simply line a muffin tray with a paper case and press +/- 15g the mixture into the bottom. Top with your cheesecake mixture and leave it in the refrigerator for the cheesecake to set.
Ice Lollies: Using a blender, blend together the smoosh with milk or nut milk. Pour the mixture into ice lolly moulds and place in the freezer overnight. The smoosh-to-milk ratio will depend on how sweet you like your ice lollies. Taste the mixture and add more smoosh if needed.
Ice Cream: Blend it together with milk or nut milk and place it in an ice cream maker until it resembles a soft-serve texture. Freeze and enjoy homemade, healthy ice cream! The amount of Smoosh you add will depend on how sweet you like your ice cream.
Pancakes: Mix(+/-) 100g of the mixture with 2 eggs to make a pancake batter with 50g of almond flour
Toppings: Crumble a little over yoghurt, fruit, smoothie bowls or chia puddings!
Smoothie: Blend 2 tbsp of the mixture with 250ml of milk or nut milk.
