Our Ugandan cocoa mass has a characteristic cocoa aroma, intense and persistent. Delicately spiced with a pleasant, sweet, and enveloping note of chocolate tea, it emerges easily thanks to its body and strong, clean, direct taste. Even in the fine tuning of the recipe, care has been taken to enhance the intensity and balanced flavour of this cocoa.
Note that this cocoa mass is made from roasted cocoa beans. Cocoa and cacao mean the same thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cocoa_bean. A cocoa bean is a cacao bean whether roasted or not. Raw food marketers unfortunately promote the idea that cocoa is roasted and processed while cacao is raw when there is actually no difference. To avoid confusion we use cacao and cocoa when referring to our cocoa mass, whether they are roasted or not (raw).
