Our Organic Freeze Dried Wild Blueberry Powder is a perfect alternative sweetener, with a rich sweet blueberry flavour. Made using 100% freeze dried ripe blueberries it maintains all of the taste of the original fruit. Along with the preservation of the flavour, the nutritional value is also preserved. Freeze drying removes the moisture from the fruit without cooking it maintaining the health benefits of the fruit.

Wild Blueberries differ from cultivated blueberries mainly because they are not planted but instead they are spread. The hardy lowbush Wild Blueberries thrive in harsh environments, meaning that they develop a high level of antioxidants that the cultivated blueberries don’t require to survive.

**To help stop freeze dried fruits softening, temperatures should not exceed 20º C and 65% relative humidity. As these conditions can vary depending on the season, the weather conditions and location of your delivery, the freeze dried fruits can, on occasion, become soft. As these are factors that are out of our control, please note we cannot accept returns for freeze-dried products if they have gone soft. Once the product is in your possession, we would advise resealing the bag quickly after opening or if you decant it into a container ensure it is airtight and completely dry as any exposure to air or moisture will result in the product becoming soft.**

Suggested uses:

Perfect for baking, ice cream, cereals, porridge, smoothies, shakes or anything else that would require a great blueberry flavour and aroma or just some natural sweetness.  Often used in place of sugar where the sweet taste is replaced with natural blueberry flavour. A favourite for blending with our 100% pure whey protein and 100% brown rice protein powders to create all natural blueberry flavoured protein shakes.  Alternatively blend with our coconut water powder for a blueberry flavoured rehydration shake.
